(More customer reviews)UPDATE: This broke seven months after purchase. Son wore it every day, but wasn't hard on it. The bottom section of the cross came off. It seems that all of the parts are attached by a little peg that is supposed to be welded or soldered in place, and this is where it failed. I'm sure we could get it fixed, but it'll go in a drawer as a keepsake and we'll buy a smaller, solid, one-piece cross for daily wear.
Original Review: This is a very nice cross. My son chose it himself as a first communion gift from me. He absolutely loves it. I let him pick it despite the fact that the description clearly states it is 2 inches long. Well, that does not sound big, but it is. His brother got a cross that is almost 1.5 inches, and that half inch makes a big difference in looks. The chain, despite being the little linked-balls variety, has a nice lobster clasp that is easy for my son to operate. Too big for my liking, and quite heavy, too, but my son loves it, so as long as that is the case, I give it 5 stars based on quality and attractiveness. Just be aware of the size.
