This small, simple crucifix, is a copy of the Cross that the Catholic Popes have worn on their belts for many years. It is crude and rustic. Its style reminds us of the virtue of humility. The shoes of the Pope are not the shoes of a king, but rather the shoes of a fisherman. The Catholic Church was not built on a golden base, but on a common stone.
